Chargers 38 Titans 10 QUALCOMM STADIUM (09-16-12) In attempt to beat the scorching heat, the San Diego Chargers (2-0) sported an all-white look in their blowout win over the Tennessee Titans (0-2). A pre-game ceremony was held prior to kickoff to honor the late Junior Seau and officially retire his #55 jersey. He joins Lance Alworth and Dan Fouts as the only players to have their jersey numbers retired by the Chargers. With Antonio Gates on the sideline nursing a rib injury, tight end Dante Rosario stepped up and caught a career high three touchdown passes. Running Back Jackie Battle entered the game in the fourth quarter and gave a much needed boost to the Chargers rushing attack. He put up two goal line touchdown runs to seal the win for the Chargers.
